WHO I AM AT WORK
In my work I am closest to the role of a specialist who finds technical solutions for business problems. Sometimes that is automation, sometimes analytics, sometimes a website, a bot, a script, a database, an integration or an AI tool. What matters to me is not the name of the technology, but the problem that needs solving and the result the business should get.
I do not see myself only as an executor who needs a precise specification handed to them. I am interested in understanding a task more deeply: why it is needed, who will use the result, where time is being lost right now, what the constraints are and how a solution might affect the process as a whole.
I am drawn to tasks where you first have to understand the domain and only then choose a technical approach. It is important to understand the process, the constraints, the data source, the end user and how the solution will fit into real work.
Code, spreadsheets, databases, APIs, websites, bots and AI tools are not separate skills for me — they are parts of one working system.
What I am working on now
Most of my work involves a trading company and its internal systems: collecting data, processing information, storing it in a database, exports, notifications, reports and tools for monitoring processes. But I do not want to limit myself to this area alone — I am interested in all kinds of tasks where IT can remove manual work, strengthen control, speed up processes or give the business new opportunities.
I prefer work where there is a clear result and a connection to a real process. When a task affects reporting, control, speed of work, communication or decision-making, it stops being purely technical — context appears: how it will be used, what errors might arise and how the solution can be developed further.
It matters to me to move in the direction the business needs, rather than just building something technically elegant for the sake of the technology itself.
