WORK INTERESTS
These days I am increasingly interested not just in building individual tools, but in going deeper into how a business actually works: where decisions are made, how money moves, where time is lost and what can be changed with technology.
I enjoy not only completing a task but also understanding why it came up in the first place. Which process works poorly? What outcome does the manager need? The more I understand the context, the more interesting the task itself becomes.
I am drawn to tasks where I can take on more responsibility than just "writing code from a spec".
I am interested in being part of solving business problems: finding root causes, proposing options, testing hypotheses, building tools and seeing how a solution affects real work.
Where I want to grow
In the future I want to develop further toward being a person who understands both the technical and the business side. Not just a developer waiting for a task, and not just a manager speaking in generalities, but a specialist who connects the problem, the process, the data, the people and the solution.
Technology remains a tool for me, but more and more my interest lies not in the tool itself, but in how it can be used to influence the business.
